Thigh Lift for Smoother Contours
GENERAL INFORMATION
From age 30 onward, the skin on the inner thigh loses elasticity. Fluctuations in weight can leave excess skin that can only be removed by surgery. The technique involves slimming the thigh, if necessary, using liposuction and then removing excess skin from the inner thigh. The desired effect is what you see when you push the skin of the thigh upwards with your hands, as if you were pulling up trousers.
The scar is completely hidden in the groin area and is therefore unnoticeable, even when you wear a bikini. In some cases, after significant weight loss, a vertical downward extension on the inner thigh is needed to remove additional skin.
RISKS & COMPLICATIONS
Complications are the same as those for other surgical procedures: infection, bleeding, scarring problems, etc. Additionally, your scar may migrate downwards, spreading to the labia-majora.
