What is a Brazilian Butt Lift?
Unlike buttock augmentation that involves the use of silicone implants, Brazilian butt lift uses the patient's own fat, removed during liposuction. For this reason, the best candidates have some amount of excess fat, either on the abdomen or thighs, that can be harvested and transferred.
Dr. Berbari prefers the VASERlipo™ System, which targets and gently breaks up fat using ultrasound technology. Once this tissue has been removed, healthy fat cells are separated and purified. Special cannulas are used to inject the purified fat into different areas of the buttocks. Dr. Berbari meticulously plans placement of the fat for the best possible results. Fat is injected at various depths and areas throughout the backside, ensuring the result is uniform, smooth, and extremely natural looking.
After you procedure, you will undergo periodic visits at our office to ensure your healing is progressing free of complications.
